  • Course description We have designed a new and exciting ceramic course focusing on making your own Japanese tableware in an eight-week wheel throwing course.

The course will teach you how to thrown off the hump, make larger and similar size pots.  You will be making your favourite tea set, ramen- and rice bowls, and learn how to texture and make faceting on your pieces.

You will receive solid hands-on introduction to the exciting curriculum introducing new techniques for throwing, surface work, and trimming your pieces in a traditional Japanese style. Each weekly class is three and a half hours long.

We offer free use of our wide studio selection of tools throughout your course.

Your finished pieces can be picked up at the studio within 2-3 weeks after finishing the course.

Your booking is binding, and it's not possible to switch courses once booked. If the course gets cancelled, you will receive a voucher for a new course. We don’t refund courses.
